After such a nice briefing on how water should never be allowed to stand in the valleys here in the landslide - I see the board member dumping hundereds of gallons on a scarpe using a fire hose only 1000 feet away also in the VERY active landslide followed by compaction for several days..

ARGH! I just do not see the logic I must be missing something  ?

:?: Why is surface water in one landslide valley good and the other bad? Is'nt this location closer to where Mr. Douglas reported new movement?

:?: This is more water from the city main than we have seen all year as rain here in the landslide, who is paying for all that "compaction" water the pony club?

:?: Also is Dumping, Filling and Grading to stop standing water easier for FREE than just grading drainage? :?:

I guess LANDSLIDE Geology is a very complex science... with techinical factors that I gets confused at. Perhaps some one will explain ?
